Our business was born out of the desire to save old books. Collected and curated over a lifetime, one person’s book collection holds huge personal value and we believe that that should never be simply pulped. While the world becomes more digital and impermanent, it is our central belief that old books, with their loose pages, stains, underlinings, notes, messages and stories are beautiful and should never be destroyed if they can be reread.

We have over 16,000 books listed in our stores on Amazon, Abebooks, Biblio and ebay with more added every day. New for November 2024 we have just launched our own online shop  where we have over 11,000 books listed that you can now buy direct from us.

In addition, we offer monthly subscriptions plans and boxfuls of books for avid readers.

To help tackle climate change and to support the environment, we are planting a tree for every order over £25.
