Celebrating National Gardening Week

It’s National Gardening Week from 26th April to 2nd May.  Over the last year, gardens and green spaces have become increasingly important for our physical and mental well-being. An aim of the week is to inspire more people to create and enjoy the green spaces around us.  And we have a whole collection of books to help you.

Cambridge Recycled books Gardening

Our books range from the best-selling Garden Expert series to help you with your lawn, greenhouse, vegetables etc to the mammoth Flora - the Gardener’s Bible, a 2-volume A-Z of 20 000 plants from around the world.  Maybe you want to start growing some of your own vegetables or want to make the most of your small garden.

But gardens are not just about plants, they are also about wildlife. What was that bird and that you saw, or how can you attract more butterflies to your garden?

As restrictions ease, how about enjoying other people’s garden and spaces – Sissinghurst, or what about Cambridge Gardens ( well we are based in Cambridge!).
